The Washoe County Recorder's Office announced a new application which allows anyone who was married in Washoe County to have access to their marriage license online.
Officials say Reno is still one of the marriage capitals in country and this system makes documenting licenses easier.
Washoe County is the first county in the country, according to officials, to use block chain technology to electronically certify documents.
Documents are consistently requested for various reasons --Â including insurance, deaths, name changes, residency, and more.
No longer do you have to wait for your marriage license to come in the mail:Â online access is provided 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.
