On Tuesday, President Joe Biden will visit Nevada to kick off his presidential campaign in the state. During his visit, he will meet directly with campaign staff and volunteers.

In Northern Nevada, the campaign will have representatives in every rural county, Washoe County will be of the utmost importance.

"If you ask me, I think Washoe County is the most important county in the country when it comes to this election. Nevada is the swingiest of swing states, and Washoe County is the swingiest of swing counties. There's no scenario in which we win Nevada, and we lose Washoe County," explained Biden for President Nevada Deputy Political and Coalitions Director Daniel Corona.

The campaign is establishing different campaign offices in North Las Vegas to connect with Latino and Black voters. This, the campaign says, contrasts with the Trump campaign, which it alleges is shutting down operations in urban regions.

However, we spoke with Republican Lieutenant Governor Stavros Anthony, and he told us that the party is energized and the ground game is strong.

"There are a lot of people all over the state who are supporting and working for President Trump. We just had our Clark County Republican convention, and there were lots of people representing President Trump, talking to people at the convention," said (R) Nevada Lt. Governor Stavros Anthony.

On Tuesday, Reno Police will be closing off some streets located just west of the airport. Terminal Way, between Vassar Street and Villanova Drive, will be closed from 7:30 AM to 1 PM. Additionally, Villanova will be closed east of Airmotive Way during this period.

Air Force One is expected to land at around 11:15 AM, and President Biden's visit with the campaign is expected to last about an hour.
