Late at night on Friday, May 3, the Sparks Police Department got a report of shots fired in the area of Penny Way and Dana Way.
Police say they found a boy on the ground with a gunshot wound near Aimone Park and Lena Juniper Elementary School.
REMSA medics took the victim to a nearby hospital, where they say he is now in stable condition.
Sparks Police say they believe all people involved in the shooting are under the age of 18. and their names are not being released at this time.
