An update on the CAL Fire incident website for the Vista Grande Fire shows that this fire is up to 100% containment.
Evacuation orders have been lifted, as well.
Original Story (6/2/2025, 7:34 p.m.):
Fire crews are fighting a series of large grass fires outside of Fairfield, California, south of Sacramento.
Officials are calling it the "Vista Grande Fire," and it has burned over 60 acres along Vista Grande near Capitola Way, north of Waterman Boulevard.
The incident page for the fire on CAL FIRE's website notes the fire is currently 5% contained.
According to our CBS sister station in Sacramento, so far no injuries have been reported; we will provide more updates as we provide them.
