Authorities are expanding search efforts after a man’s car was found on a remote road south of Quincy earlier this week.

The Plumas County Sheriff’s Office says it is continuing its search for 41-year-old Bradley “Jay” Prestigiacomo, also known as Bradley Pierson, who was reported as a voluntary missing adult on August 4. He was last seen leaving a residence in Quincy around 2:30 a.m. on August 3.

On August 5, employees from the U.S. Forest Service located Bradley’s car on a remote forest road between Claremont Peak and Thompson Creek, south of Quincy.

Deputies and investigators from the sheriff’s office responded to the area and with assistance from Forest Service personnel, a drone was deployed, and an initial ground search was conducted, but Bradley was not located.

Plumas County Search and Rescue was activated and conducted an initial search of the area.

On Thursday morning, SAR personnel returned, and the sheriff’s office has requested mutual aid from specialized search dog teams to assist in the ongoing effort.

As of 8:00 a.m. today, Bradley has not been located, and SAR crews are continuing the search.

Anyone with information regarding Bradley’s whereabouts or who may have seen anything in the area is asked to contact the Plumas County Sheriff’s Office at (530) 283-6300.
