Boarding for Breast Cancer (B4BC) kicked off the 21st annual 'Skate the Lake' event on Saturday.
Skate the Lake, presented by LivOn Labs, took place July 19 and 20 in North Lake Tahoe.
A community celebration was held on July 19 to kick off the event at Commons Beach in Tahoe City, featuring live music, silent auctions, a raffle and lots of food and drink options.
Then on the 20th, attendees were invited to skate, bike, or roll the 28-mile course that started at Sugar Pine State Park, made a lunch stop at Palisades Tahoe, then finished off at Commons Beach in Tahoe City.
B4BC hosts the event each year as a fundraiser, with a goal this year of $75,000.
