Getting around North Lake Tahoe is now easier with the addition of new technology from Tahoe Truckee Area Regional Transit.
TART has introduced real-time tracking and trip planning through the TART Connect app and the Transit app. Riders can now receive real-time information about their ride, plan trips, view nearby transit options, access step-by-step directions and check schedules. The TART Connect app is available for download on iOS and Android devices.
The real-time tracking enhancements come as TART’s fall schedule gets underway - through Dec. 11. Service updates include night service on the North Shore, TART Connect micro-transit on-demand service ending at 10 p.m., as well as additional buses for popular events throughout the fall.
