A brush fire broke out early Wednesday morning in Carson City. It happened just off highway 50.
Fire crews tell us it burned about an acre of land. They were able to stop the progress of the fire at 4:30 a.m..
There were 12 units on scene from Carson Fire, East Fork Fire Protection District, and Tahoe-Douglas Fire.
No buildings were threatened, and no injuries were reported in the fire.
