Reno Fire says a small heater that burnt out sent smoke into a restaurant prompting it to close for the night.
Crews responded to the fire at the South Virginia Street Olive Garden around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
According to a customer, people were immediately evacuated from the restaurant when smoke was seen coming out of the kitchen area.
Firefighters say there no injuries, and the restaurant should reopen for business on Thursday.
