Fire crews have put out a fire at the top of Donner Ski Ranch Resort in Nevada County.Â
In a tweet posted early Friday morning, CAL FIRE said that the fire could not be access by engines, so crews accessed the site by snow cat and snow machine.
Truckee Fire District also responded.
CAL FIRE says the structure fire spread to adjacent trees that were felled to protect the chair lift and other infrastructure.
The cause remains under investigation.Â
