Combustible potting soil is being blamed for a house fire that injured one person in Wadsworth on Monday afternoon. 

The Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe says the fire happened around 2 p.m. on Virginia Street in Wadsworth.

When crews arrived on scene, they extinguished the fire. 

The victim was treated on scene for severe burns and then transported to Renown Regional Medical Center for further evaluation.
