Chain controls are in effect for parts of northern Nevada and Tahoe as more snow moves in.
As of 10:45 p.m., traffic is moving in both directions over Donner Summit. Trucks are still being held on the eastbound side at Applegate.
Chains are required for passenger cars.
Chains are also required on portions of Mt. Rose Highway (SR-431), SR-28, US-50, CA-89, CA-267 and CA-88.
