One adult and two minors were taken to the hospital with major injuries after a single-vehicle crash in Sparks early Saturday morning. 

Police responded to the crash along Spanish Springs Road near Vintage Hills Parkway at approximately 3:45 a.m. 

Sparks Police, Sparks Fire, and REMSA responded to reports of a car crashing into a tree, with the car fully engulfed in flames, and multiple people trapped inside. 

Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire and get the people trapped out of the car. 

While the investigation is ongoing, police suspect driving while intoxicated played a role in the crash.
