Lieutenant Governor Stavros Anthony visited Legends Bay Casino in Sparks on Saturday.
Anthony is Chair of the Nevada Commission on Tourism and went to the casino for a property tour and business update, according to a release from Legends Bay Casino.
In his role with the commission, Anthony travels the Silver State visiting local businesses that help increase tourism, travel, hospitality, and gaming.
Legends Bay Casino opened in August of 2022. In 2023, the year after it opened, gaming revenue in Sparks went up by more than 6%.
