A man suffered serious injuries after being hit by a car near Vista Boulevard and Frisco Way in Sparks early Thursday morning, according to Sparks Police.
The crash happened around 4:34 a.m. near the intersection of Vista Boulevard and Frisco Way.
Police say when they arrived on scene they found an adult male who had suffered serious injuries. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Investigators say the driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.Â
The Sparks Police Major Accident Investigation Team (M.A.I.T.) is handling the investigation. Authorities say it is still unknown whether speed was a factor in the crash, though impairment does not appear to have played a role.
The investigation remains ongoing, and no additional information has been released at this time.
