Carson Tahoe Health has announced the arrivals of the last baby born in their care in 2025 and the first born in 2026.
The final baby born in 2025 was delivered at 9:03 p.m., on December 31, according to a release from Cason Tahoe Health.
Baby Gabriel, born to mother Rebecca, weighed 7pounds, 4.9 ounces, and measured 20 inches.
The Western Nevada CattleWomen presented Gabriel's family with a $250 beef gift certificate, a gift they have awarded annually since 1999.
The first baby of 2026 was delivered at 10:32 a.m. on New Year's Day, weighing 7 pounds, 13 ounces, and measuring 20 inches.
Parents Alyssa and Izaiah welcomed Dyami into the world.
To celebrate, Carson Tahoe Health presented the family with a baby-friendly gift basket to honor their newest addition.Â
