The City of Reno is hosting its annual Senior Resource Fair this month.

The event is taking place at the Neil Road Recreation Center from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, January 22.

City officials say the event is free and is open to the public. The fair will offer free blood pressure checks, fraud prevention services, and other services.

“We're so proud to offer a convenient one-stop shop for our senior residents, helping them connect with vital services available in our area,” said Reno Mayor Hillary Schieve. “I encourage seniors in our community to take advantage of this incredible opportunity provided by the city.”

Many local organizations and groups will be in attendance, including first responders, health organizations and food organizations.

The fair was made possible in part of the Reno EngAGED program involving Rescue Plan Act funding.
