Cleanup of the eastern end of the Sparks Marina canal and stormwater vaults has begun.
The City of Sparks has contracted Gerhardt & Berry Construction to conduct the project.
Work started today and is expected to be completed by Friday, October 3.
The project is part of ongoing maintenance efforts.
People in the area should stay clear of the work sites and follow any posted safety signage.
