One local business is teaching students some aspects of coding while they are on spring break.
Code Ninjas offers various camps and programs for those who are interested in the S.T.E.M. field.
The owner of Code Ninjas in Reno feels that having kids learn these skills at a young age gives them a leg up in other areas.
"The big thing is that the earlier they get into S.T.E.M. and get excited about S.T.E.M., I think the better it is as they go into their other S.T.E.M. classes. You know, math, science, and technology," said owner Eric Miller.
This weeks camp focused on students learning how to add their own modifications to the popular game "Minecraft."
Owner Eric Miller and his "Code Senseis" play games with the students and teach a set curriculum to them.
