Kids and young people can sometimes get overlooked when it comes to dental work - with that in mind, the Community Health Alliance has upcoming clinics to help.
The CHA will be holding three Mobile Pediatric Dental Clinics in February for young people ages 0-20.
Services provided include oral exams, x-rays, dental cleanings, fluoride treatment, sealants and fillings, and hygiene/nutritional instruction.
The clinics scheduled for February are:
- March 6 from 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. at CHA's Nell J. Redfield Health Center on Neil Road in Reno
- March 20 from 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. at CHA's Nell J. Redfield Health Center in Sun Valley
- March 27 from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. at CHA's Nell J. Redfield Health Center in Sun Valley
According to organizers, appointments are encouraged but walk-ins are welcome.
CHA accepts Medicaid, Medicare and private insurance; they also offer discounted services for uninsured patients.
