County hopes expanded mental health services could take pressure off of homeless shelters

The county says services at what was once West Hills Hospital could benefit homeless people and the community as a whole.

Though the windows are boarded up and the building is surrounded by chain link, the closed West Hills Behavioral Health Hospital still has crews inside chipping away at renovations, according to Washoe County.
