Fire crews in Truckee responded to a rescue near Donner Summit on Sunday afternoon.

According to the Truckee Fire Protection District, in an online post, people in a house were trapped after a nearby river swelled due to rainfall.

Fire officials say no injuries have been reported.

Officials are also reminding the public that water levels can change during rainfall. They're also asking you to avoid being in or near the water when levels increase in size.

You should also avoid driving or wading through flood waters, according to officials.
