Crews with the Reno Fire Department are searching for a woman who reportedly was last seen in the Truckee River.
According to a battalion chief with the Reno Fire Department (RFD), a call came in at around 8:30 p.m. Sunday night about the need for a potential water rescue.
A person said that they'd seen a 40-year-old woman in the river and were not able to reach her.
RFD crews set up initially at Fisherman's Park II and downstream at the Greg Street Bridge and Rock Park. Patrols along both shores were done as using four boats, on-foot crews and swim personnel.
Six swimmers with RFD floated the Truckee River from Fisherman's Park to Cottonwood Park, but did not find or see anyone.
