Lemmon Valley suspect

Update June 7:

The Washoe County Sheriff's Office arrested 21-year-old Travis Cole Aney who was wanted on felony charges.

Deputies say Aney had previously been identified in a petit larceny investigation and he evaded police after they pulled him over the same day.

WCSO says Aney was seen driving without headlights. When he saw a patrol vehicle, Aney turned his headlights on and drove straight toward the deputy's car. He swerved right in front of the patrol car, hitting the front end of it.

Aney continued attempting to evade law enforcement even after being pinned by multiple patrol vehicles.

One deputy was treated for minor injuries from the crash.

Eventually, Aney was arrested and booked on multiple felony charges including:

• Driver Evade, Elude, or Fail to Stop on Signal of Peace Officer, Endangering Other Person or Property (x2)
• Possession of a Controlled Substance
• Resist Public Officer with Use of a Dangerous Weapon Other Than a Firearm
• Felony Arrest for Violation of a Condition of Parole
• Attempt to Destroy or Injure Real or Personal Property of Another, Value $5,000 or Greater
• Driving Under the Influence (Misdemeanor)
