The Better Business Bureau's Secure Your ID Day is coming up in October, giving people the chance to shred documents as well as donate to the Food Bank of Northern Nevada.
The event is being held from 9 to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 10, in the Atlantis West Parking Lot.
People are encouraged to bring up to three boxes of documents to shred, as well as non-perishable food items for the Food Bank.
The event is being put on by the BBB with help from American Document Destruction, the Atlantis, and 2 News Nevada.
