Several law enforcement agencies are holding drug take-back events in northern Nevada on Saturday where people can drop off unused or expired prescription or over-the-counter medication.
Sparks Police are teaming up with Join Together Northern Nevada to host events at Smith's on Baring Boulevard and Baldini's Casino on South Rock Boulevard.
The event goes from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at both locations.
Partnership Carson City is hosting events at four locations from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Locations include two Save Marts, Smiths and Food Maxx.
Narcan, a medication to reverse the effects of an opioid overdose, will be available at the Carson City locations.
Partnership Douglas County is also holding an event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Douglas County Sheriff's Office on Buckeye Road in Minden.
