Local community organizations will host a free Family Health Festival in Reno on Wednesday.
The October 8th event at the Neil Road Recreation Center will offer free resources and information to the community.
Free services include:
* Food Bank Mobile Harvest
* Blood pressure checks
* Food Stamps / SNAP Registration
* Maternal/infant care
* Children’s Books (while supplies last)
* Flu and respiratory vaccines (while supplies last)
* Free haircuts
* Energy assistance
* Basic needs resources
Just head to 3925 Neil Road between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. next Wednesday.
Family Health Festivals are a collaborative service brought to you by a committee of local non-profit, civic, and healthcare organizations, including: Northern Nevada Public Health, Food Bank of Northern Nevada, United Way of Northern Nevada and the Sierra, Community Health Alliance, Community Services Agency, WCSD Family Resource Centers, Molina Healthcare, United Healthcare – Health Plan of Nevada Medicaid, Renown Health, Hometown Health, UNR – Nevada Center for Excellence in Disabilities, and Asian Community Development Council (ACDC).
