The Fernley City Council has voted to censure Councilman Stan Lau following recent misconduct allegations.
The council passed the motion three to one.
As a result, they said Councilman Lau has been removed from all committees to which he was assigned indefinitely.
Councilman Lau was booked on battery and injury to property charges last month after an altercation with a construction crew member.
