Three men were arrested Monday afternoon after a road rage incident turned violent.
Deputies with the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported traffic accident at the Community Response and Resource Center near Lois Lane in Fernley on August 25, at around 4:50 p.m.
When deputies arrived, they found an injured man, later identified as Ricky Fields, receiving treatment from the North Lyon County Fire Department.Â
According to the Lyon County Sheriff's Office, upon further investigation, it was determined that the incident began as a road rage dispute and escalated when bystanders became involved.
During the altercation, multiple people brandished weapons, a car was damaged, and Fields sustained injuries that required hospitalization.
As a result of the investigation, deputies arrested and booked the following people into the Lyon County Jail:
Ricky Fields, charged with assault with a deadly weapon, robbery, and reckless driving, with a total bail set at $121,890.
Joseph Cantrell, charged with battery with a deadly weapon and obstructing/false statements, with a total bail set at $41,140.
Christopher Cantrell, charged with battery with a deadly weapon and obstructing/false statements, with a total bail set at $41,140.
