Lockwood residents in Storey County will witness a flood evacuation drill to prepare for a future emergency.
The drill is scheduled for December 13 at 8 a.m.
Storey County says, in an online post, that while you wait, you can start preparing for an emergency plan and what you might need in case of an immediate evacuation.
You can also attend a town hall meeting on November 12 starting at 5:30 p.m. to hear about the emergency plans.
Location of the town hall is at the Lockwood Senior Community Center.
