From clothes and toys to home goods and pet supplies, a Reno business is inviting the community to give unwanted items a second life during a free market event later this month.
The Radical Cat will host its second annual free market event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 30, at 1500 S. Virginia Street in Reno.
The event, called the 2nd Annual Radical Cat Free Market, will take place in the business parking lot outdoor showroom and is aimed at people looking to give away items they no longer use or pick up items they may need at no cost.
Organizers said people can bring items in good to very good condition that could still have another life. Available items may include clothes, toys, home goods, appliances, pet supplies, and other items.
There is no fee to attend or participate.
If you're interested in participating, RSVP by emailing events@theradicalcat.com or claubacher@me.com.
Organizers also asked people not to drop off donations without an RSVP, to arrive early, or to take more than they need. People taking items for resale are encouraged to wait until the end of the event to prioritize those seeking items for personal use.
Attendees are also encouraged to bring their own bags or boxes.
