A Grand Sierra Resort guest is more than $1 million richer after hitting a progressive jackpot this past weekend.
The casino says the Salinas resident, James J. Jr., won the $1.1 million Triple Diamond progressive jackpot while playing Three Card Poker. GSR says James hit the jackpot with a straight (10-9-8), earning a progressive payout of $1,111,111.11.
