The Reno Rabbit Rescue is following up with care and fundraising for the 24 rabbits that were abandoned in Reno recently.
The rescue has teamed up with the Mountain View Animal Hospital to offer reduced rates on vaccinations and spay/neuter surgery for adopted bunnies.
The rescue is also holding "Hoppy Hour" adoption events monthly, planned to allow interested families to meet the homeless bunnies and potentially adopt one.
The latest event happened Sunday, March 23 at the South Valley Library.
Carly Neubert, the founder of Reno Rabbit Rescue, says, "We have never had this many rabbits in our foster care system, so we are striving to make it easy to meet the bunnies and learn how to care for them.
