An investigation is underway after a car crashed into the front of a doctor's office in south Reno.

The incident happened around 8:15 a.m. on Tuesday at the office of Dr. Imran Sheriff, near Reno Corporate and Double R Blvds.

No impairment is suspected in the crash, and nobody was hospitalized, according to a spokesperson for the Reno Police Department.

REMSA and Reno Fire responded to the scene, where police say an elderly driver stepped on the wrong pedal in their car.

That driver was not arrested or ticketed.

The building's owner tells 2 News Nevada that the driver hit the building multiple times, damaging the employee area.

Photos of the scene show structural damage to the front door area with some debris on the outside sidewalk.

There's no current estimate on when repairs will be made or when the office will reopen to normal business hours.
