An investigation is underway after a four-car crash killed one person on Eastlake Blvd. on Monday night.

It happened south of Freckles Court just before 7 p.m. 

The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office Major Accident Investigation Team (M.A.I.T.) is handling the investigation.

At this time, deputies say it appears impairment does not appear to be a factor in the crash.

The victim's name hasn't been released.
