Smoke at the Onyx at 695 apartments in Reno caused residents to temporarily evacuate early Tuesday morning.
Firefighters responded to the building around 4 a.m., on W. 3rd Street near Washington and Ralston Streets.
Reno Fire Department says smoke was seen coming from a laundry room.
Everyone has since returned inside.
Crews are still figuring out what caused the smoke.
