DECEMBER 2 UPDATE:
A juvenile driver has been arrested after a Monday evening crash on I-580 south near Plumb Lane that sent them to the hospital.
A Trooper with the Nevada Highway Patrol tried to pull over a Toyota sedan seen being driven recklessly by the juvenile near Mill Street when they fled.
The driver lost control of the car and hit an SUV, which in turn was knocked into a pickup truck.
The driver of the Toyota was taken to the hospital with reportedly non-life-threatening injuries, and the other two drivers also reported non-life-threatening injuries.
After being medically cleared, the driver of the Toyota was arrested and taken to a juvenile detention facility, where they were booked on several charges.
Multiple lanes and the Plumb Lane on-ramp were closed for hours following the crash for the investigation and diagram of the scene.
The case remains active.

All lanes on I-580 southbound near Plumb Lane have reopened, as well as the Plumb Lane on-ramp, after a three-car crash with injuries forced a lane reduction and ramp closure in the area.
The crash happened just before 4:30 p.m., according to a release from the Nevada Highway Patrol.
A car was driving south on I-580 when it hit an SUV. The SUV then hit a pickup truck.
One person was taken to the hospital, and two other drivers reported injuries that are believed to be minor.
