According to the City of Sparks, sections of Vista Boulevard between Peppergrass Drive and Prater Way will be reduced to one lane in each direction from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily through August 4th. The lane closures begin Monday, July 20.
Crews will remove weeds and dead trees, apply targeted granular and liquid herbicides, and water treated areas with a water truck.
Drivers are being asked to slow down, follow traffic controls in the area, and watch for crews working in the medians.
