If you live in or travel through Dayton on a regular basis, you may want to keep an eye out for some lane reductions coming your way.

The lane closures will be taking place on eastbound U.S. 50 in Dayton between April 8 through April 17, betweeen 9:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. each weekday.

The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) will be using that time to fill age-related cracks in the highway's surface.

Traffic will be reduced to a single lane - officials say to expect delays of up to 30 minutes.

As with any road work, the schedule is subject to change.
