The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) has announced updates in their U.S. 395 project working through the North Valleys.
The southbound U.S. 395 off ramp to Parr Boulevard will be closed, and southbound highway lanes shifted beginning on Wednesday, July 16.
A nearby detour will be set up via Clear Acre Lane.
Both southbound lanes will be shifted to the newly-constructed inside lanes so that new southbound lanes can be constructed.
In addition, lanes on northbound U.S. 395 will remain reduced to two lanes from Dandini Boulevard to Golden Valley Road as sections of highway and bridges are removed and reconstructed, and other improvements are made.
Speeds are reduced to 55 mph 24/7 through the work zone.
Additional overnight closures will continue as well, with highway lanes reduced to a minimum of one lane in each direction.
