Beginning on November 19, northbound lanes on US 395 will be slightly shifted through the NDOT work zone in north Reno.

The lane shifts begin at 5:00 a.m. on November 19, on US 395 lanes in the North McCarran area. The shifts are being put in place to accommodate construction on the road's median.

The northbound right and left lanes will be slightly divided between north McCarran Blvd to north of Clear Acre Lane.

NDOT says the northbound lanes will temporarily form a loose football shape while their crews excavate and pave in the center of the lanes.

Two northbound lanes will remain open through the work zone during the daytime.

Drivers in the area are advised to drive attentively, follow all work zone speed limits and posted notices, and to stay in your lane through work zones.
