Retail outlets have been stocking up their merchandise, sports bars are loading up on food and drinks, and shelves are emptying at the grocery stores as Super Bowl Sunday approaches.
A lot of businesses are seeing a lot of customers making preparations for the big game.
Right now, many restaurants such as Bully's Sports Bar, are experiencing the calm before the storm, but they tell us they fully expect to get hit hard with huge crowds on the big day.
"We're very busy. We're expecting big crowds like two weeks ago when they were in the playoffs because it is 49ers again," said Meri Fears, General Manager.
"It's definitely usually standing room only, so you know get here before 45 minutes or so before the game starts," adds bartender Stephanie Torimino.
Whether staying home or going out, lots of people want to show support by wearing their team's gear.
Scheel's says they are fully stocked on all kinds of merchandise for both the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers. However, they admitted that one team is selling more gear than the other.
"Definitely more Niners, this is definitely Niner country, however we do have some Chief stuff for both sides of the game, but we definitely get a lot more Niners fans out here." said Chris Adgett, Assistant Store Leader.
There's still plenty of time to swing by Scheel's and grab gear for your team, but if you're a Niners fan it sounds like you might want to come in sooner or later. The same goes for showing up at the sports bars on Super Bowl Sunday.
