The Nevada Seismological Laboratory is reporting a magnitude 3.3 earthquake that hit near Gerlach on Thursday night.

It hit roughly 26 miles away from Gerlach, just north of Pyramid Lake, at about before 5:30 p.m., according to a release from the Seismological Laboratory.

It is currently unknown whether the quake caused any damage.

An earthquake rattled near Gerlach and Pyramid Lake.
