The Nevada Seismological Laboratory is reporting a magnitude 4.05 earthquake that hit north central Nevada on Tuesday night.
It hit roughly 32 miles north of Battle Mountain and roughly 43 miles east northeast of Winnemucca just before 8 p.m., according to a release from the Seismological Laboratory.
It is unknown at this time if the quake caused any damage.
