A man faces arson charges, accused of starting two fires near I-80 and Battle Born Way - and Rail City Casino on Thursday afternoon.
Sparks Police say Sergio Rivera was arrested after he was identified by a witness and security camera footage.
The first fire started after 2 p.m. along I-80 near the casino.
The second fire, which started a few minutes later, broke out near Battle Born Way near Galletti Way in Sparks.
Smoke from both fires could be seen on NDOT traffic cameras.
Police say Rivera is also being investigated for other fires he alleged started - unrelated to Thursday's fires.
The investigation remains ongoing.
