A man police say has a 'history of going to extreme lengths to avoid arrest' is now behind bars and faces charges in two states.

Regional law enforcement were tasked with looking for Jordan Coleman after he allegedly pointed a gun at Winco security while stealing a bottle of tequila at the Northtowne Lane store on September 1st.

Authorities say Coleman was seen speeding and running red lights all over Reno and Sparks.

During one attempted stop, police say he sped away and toward oncoming traffic.

Then last week he was again seen by regional law enforcement driving a rental car with his wife, Christina Coleman. They say he was again speeding and running red lights throughout the area. Then at some point, he got out of the car and let Christina drive who also allegedly drove erratically eventually hitting a bicyclist in Sparks, before leaving the area. Fortunately, the bicyclist suffered only minor injuries.

Authorities say the rental car was later found to be embezzled from the rental company.

A few days later, police say Jordan Coleman stole a car from an acquittance of his wife, in Sparks.

Five days later, authorities say Jordan Coleman was arrested after a short pursuit and his wife was also arrested, in Reno later that night.

At the same time, Placer County contacted local authorities about a warrant they had for Jordan Coleman after he allegedly stole a snowblower from someone's shed.

Jordan Coleman was arrested on the following charges:
