A man on probation faces several new charges after authorities say they found multiple guns and drugs inside his Washoe County home.
Nevada State Police say they went to the man's home for a probation compliance check late last month where they allegedly found the items. They say the guns were found to be in violation of several state and federal laws.
Blake Crane, was booked into the Washoe County Jail on the following charges:
* Possession, manufacture or disposition of a short-barreled rifle or short-barreled shotgun (Felony)
* Unlawful possession, purchase, transport or receipt of an unfinished frame or receiver (First Offense)
(Gross Misdemeanor)
* Unlawful possession, sale, transfer, purchase, transport or receipt of a firearm without a serial number
(First Offense) (Gross Misdemeanor)
* Unlawful importation, sale, manufacture, transfer, receipt or possession of certain semiautomatic
firearms, devices or parts that modify semiautomatic firearms (Felony)
* Manufacture, importation, possession or use of a dangerous weapon or silencer; carrying a concealed
weapon without a permit (Felony)
* Possession of a Controlled Substance (Felony)
* Probation Violation (Gross Misdemeanor)
"Our officers work every day to help individuals successfully complete probation while holding them
accountable to the conditions ordered by the court," said Tamrah Jackson, Chief of the Nevada State Police
Division of Parole and Probation. "When those conditions are violated, our responsibility is to take
appropriate enforcement action to protect our communities."
The investigation remains ongoing.
