The Nevada Department of Transportation is now accepting applications for paid summer internships.
They're looking to fill nearly 40 positions in Reno, Carson City, Elko, Winnemucca and Las Vegas.
The internships run from May through August and pay up to $24 an hour.
NDOT says their internship program allows students to gain on-the-job training in civil and environmental engineering, including highway design and construction, bridge engineering, highway maintenance and more.
Applicants must be a high school graduate and currently enrolled in a college degree program. To apply send a resume and transcript to trainingsection@dot.nv.gov by March 13th.
