Nevada Highway Patrol troopers are investigating a road rage shooting incident that happened near southbound U.S. 395 and Clear Acre Lane and continued onto westbound Interstate 80.
Just after 9:30 p.m. on August 18, troopers say a shooting occurred near Keystone Avenue and 7th Street in Reno. No one was hurt in the shooting.
The Nevada State Police Investigation Division Major Crimes Unit was requested to lead the investigation.
Detectives identified Arthur Kerr of Sun Valley as a suspect. He was booked on the following charges:
- Discharging a firearm into an occupied vehicle in a prohibited area
- Discharging a firearm within a vehicle
- Assault with the use of a deadly weapon
