North Lyon firefighters were called to an early morning vehicle fire on westbound Interstate 80 near mile marker 45, just west of Fernley.
Crews arrived around 3:30 a.m. and found a van in flames.
The fire was quickly knocked down, and crews were able to keep the fire from spreading into surrounding vegetation.
There were no injuries.
